   Outside Thermometers
Interested in outside thermometers?
If you’re looking for some outside thermometers that you can
stick on your window so that you can tell the temperature
while you’re inside of your house, there are quite a few of
those out there to choose from. There are so many in
fact that it’s worth looking them up on the Internet to make
sure you’re purchasing the right one, one that is going to
provide you with accurate readings and is not going to break
down on you. So if you’re interested in reading about
some outside thermometers reviews to better acquaint
yourself with what is out there, read on:
1. Electrostatic Cling
Outdoor Window Thermometer
Out of all the outside thermometers, this
one is probably the simplest and also the one that is the
best value for the price. It simply sticks to the
window from the outside “electro-statically”. It has a
red gauge that is centered with an arrow that points to
large blue numbers from -60 to 120F. This device is
only $5.99 which is a steal.
This thing is transparent except for the
numbers and is quite accurate in judging the temperature
outside, even in comparison to electronic/digital
thermometers. The downside though is this needs to be
placed on a window which doesn’t get much sunlight as
sunlight can offset the accuracy of this.
Other than that, this is easy to install, easy to read and
holds up well to the elements.
2. Conant Custom Brass
Thermometers
This is another one to consider which is
made of brass and has an arm which can be screwed down
outside of the house outside of your window. This dial
made of solid brass and glass has an easy to read face with
a black arrow that points to a reading between -40 and 120F,
the temperature is even given in Celsius.
It’s an attractive and classy looking
thing, it does it’s job and it ages well too outside.
If you want a thermometer that will give you accurate
information and look good while doing it, this is one to
consider.
3. Springfield Precision
Instruments Model 90007 13.25" Big and Bold Low Profile
Patio Thermometer
This one is meant to be hung or mounted on
a wall and measures the temperature in both Fahrenheit and
in Celsius. The numbers for Fahrenheit are large while
the Celsius numbers are small and in an inner circle.
The whole dial is white with black writing and the arrow is
red, looks rather sharp.
If you do end up hanging this, again, be careful not to leave
it in sunlight as it will skew the accuracy. You can pick
this up for $13.10 at Amazon.
There are several other outside
thermometers out there, but that’s a good quick look at what
you have available. I’d suggest looking around a bit
more though to gain more perspective.
