Pool Thermometer
Looking for a swimming pool
thermometer? A swimming pool thermometer is an
important addition to any pool, you always need to know just
how warm or how cool the water is before you go and take a
dip in it. Most of the time when you first take a dip
in the pool the water is cold, but you don’t want it to be
uncomfortably so. This is why it’s a good idea to get
a hold of and install a swimming pool thermometer before you
get into your swimming trunks for a dip.
Now there are many a swimming pool
thermometer out there to choose from and they vary in price,
you don’t want to get one that isn’t accurate or doesn’t
stand up to abuse, so here’s a list of a few you might want
to check out:
1. Intex Shark Thermometer
from Swimline.
Here’s a cute little thermometer which has
a rubber shark on the top of it. It’s great as it
floats around on top of the pool or in a hot tub and it
reads accurately which is often a problem with these types
of things, many are off by 2-5 degrees.
Little kids will also enjoy these as
well. This one only costs $5.80 on Amazon.
2. Combo Sink/Float
Thermometer
Here’s a thermometer which can either
float or sink depending on what you want it to do. It
is clear and easy to read and comes with a sticky pad which
allows you to stick it to the side of your pool. There
is even a string attachment with this which makes it easy to
tell where it is at all times. You can get this one
for $8.76, which is also pretty cheap.
3. Dolphin Swimming Pool
Thermometer
This one is very much like the Shark
thermometer mentioned earlier, except that on the top of it
there is a dolphin instead of a shark. It’s made of
plastic and shows you the temperature in both Fahrenheit and
Celsius. This one can be found at your local
Target.
Now if you are looking for a swimming pool
thermometer, there are plenty of other ones out there to
check out, but these ones are definite winners. The
main thing you’ll be concerned about is the accuracy of the
readings and unfortunately by the time you figure out how
accurate one is it’s too late, that’s why it’s best to go
off of reviews that you read online.
